Fatalii

The Fatalii is a variety of chili pepper from the Habanero family, belonging to the species Capsicum chinense. It is primarily grown and consumed in the Central African Republic, particularly in Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Sudan.

The plant is very large, capable of reaching 1 meter under good conditions. Its fruit matures in 3 to 4 months, changing color from pale green to bright yellow. Some varieties turn red, then orange, white, and eventually brown.

The berry is rough and about 8 cm long. At the top, it can reach a diameter of 3 cm. It has a citrusy aroma, making it ideal for cooking sauces and dressings.

Very spicy, it can reach up to 400,000 Scoville Heat Units, which is an average value, but it is still considered one of the hottest peppers in the world.
